Downward trends have stalled. Van (-5.6%), Reefer (-2.9%), and Flatbed (-4.2%) all continue showing negative rate trends relative to 24H1 baselines. Year-over-year values indicate stronger negative values because stronger prices in October 2023, with Van (-6.1%), Reefer (-4.5%), and Flatbed (-3.1%).
South and Southeast are still showing the greatest weakness in Van and Reefer rates relative to 2024 H1 baselines.
As stated last month, and the month before, these results support the common industry outlook of a weak to flat Q4 ahead with optimism returning in 2025.
